Klara and Matthew's love story began on a chilly December 17th, 2020, just one day after Matt's birthday. Little did he know that meeting Klara would turn out to be the greatest gift he could ever receive.

Thanks to the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic, their initial "date" unfolded over the phone. Matt was driving back to his parent's house for Christmas, and Klara was strolling through her neighborhood with her faithful companion, Tucker the dog. What started as a simple conversation quickly transformed into a captivating connection. They found themselves so engrossed in each other's company that Matt ended up driving laps around the neighborhood while Klara took a few extra turns of her own.

Their journey of getting to know one another continued through

countless phone calls and delightful Facetime video chats. It was on January 22nd that they finally had the opportunity to meet in person, and from that moment on, their story was etched into history.

Klara and Matt's bond deepened over shared passions, such as

their love for farmer's markets. Every Saturday, they made it a tradition to explore the Falls Church Farmers Market together. They delighted in cooking and baking side by side, sipping on quality coffee, and cherishing moments with their close-knit circle of friends. Tucker, the ever-charming dog, quickly endeared himself to Matt, forging a heartwarming friendship between the two.

Over the years, this couple embraced their love for adventure. They explored the streets of Baltimore, the city they now call home, and willingly embarked on any journey required to ensure Tucker could take a refreshing swim.

Their journey reached a remarkable milestone on January 28th, 2023, when Matt surprised Klara with a proposal. Together, they took a leisurely walk with Tucker through Federal Hill Park. With the Baltimore skyline as a backdrop, Matt dropped to one knee, making for a picture-perfect moment. The day was rounded off with celebrations, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, at their cherished date night spot, The Wurst Bar. To cap it off, they enjoyed a romantic dinner for two at Tagliatas restaurant, another favorite in their love story. 💍🥂❤️
